Bright House Networks Stadium Makes History
Stadium Takes its Place in the UCF Campus Pantheon of Great and Lasting Structures

Inaugural football was held on Saturday, September 15, 2007, versus the University of Texas Longhorns, and featured a sellout crowd.

Stay tuned for weekly updates

2007 season schedule.

A vacant 25-acre tract on the University of Central Florida's campus near Orlando has been transformed over the past year into the site of the newest NCAA Division 1-A college football stadium in the nation.

Welcome to the Bright House, also known as Bright House Networks Stadium.

With 45,000 seats and a state-of-the-art infrastructure custom-wired by Bright House Networks technicians, Bright House Networks Stadium is much more than a new venue for football and other campus activities. A true level playing field, Bright House Networks Stadium now rises above campus as the vertical epicenter of many other new campus improvements. Together, the stadium and surrounding facilities comprise a new millennium innovation by grouping sports, dormitory facilities and retail space in a sort of Olympic Village effect. As the largest sponsor with naming rights, Bright House Networks wants much more than just the company name associated with Bright House Networks Stadium. Bright House Networks is paying $15 million of the $54 million construction cost: Doing that shows a level of commitment and partnership that confirms the depth of the company's commitment. Many Bright House Networks customers are current or former UCF students, and Bright House Networks has many employees who hold degrees from the university. As UCF has grown to one of the largest universities in the nation, Bright House Networks has grown with it, as both a provider and a partner. Bright House Networks Stadium represents the highest level a corporate/public sponsorship can achieve in bringing UCF and the surrounding community a unique asset that underscores the university's value as a nucleus of learning and progress.

"...Bright House Networks Stadium now rises above campus as the vertical epicenter..."

Bright House Networks Stadium is a 1-million-square-foot symbol of UCF's desire to provide its Conference USA football team with the best possible game venue while providing students, faculty, alumni and the community with a beautiful, practical and ultra-modern sports edifice that sets a standard of excellence in both appearance and function. Designed by architectural firm 360 to maximize fans' views of the action on the field, Bright House Networks Stadium makes true the old statement, "there's not a bad seat in the house." Seating Chart, Parking Map and Stadium Map are available to see Bright House Networks Stadium in perspective with everything else on campus.
