A vacant 25-acre tract on the University of Central Florida's campus near Orlando has been transformed over the past year into the site of the newest NCAA Division 1-A college football stadium in the nation.
Welcome to the Bright House, also known as Bright House Networks Stadium.
With 45,000 seats and a state-of-the-art infrastructure custom-wired by Bright House Networks technicians, Bright House Networks Stadium is much more than a new venue for football and other campus activities. A true level playing field, Bright House Networks Stadium now rises above campus as the vertical epicenter of many other new campus improvements. Together, the stadium and surrounding facilities comprise a new millennium innovation by grouping sports, dormitory facilities and retail space in a sort of Olympic Village effect. As the largest sponsor with naming rights, Bright House Networks wants much more than just the company name associated with Bright House Networks Stadium. Bright House Networks is paying $15 million of the $54 million construction cost: Doing that shows a level of commitment and partnership that confirms the depth of the company's commitment.
